I was privileged to be asked by Jim to review this book while he was writing it and it is an awesome piece of work packed full of goodies for PeopleSoft developers at all levels.
If you don't have this book on your desk then you're missing out!
Well done Jim and thanks for producing such a useful guide for PeopleSoft developers.
@Neeraj, publication was set for July, but it looks like printing is ahead of schedule and pre-orders may ship as early as the last week of June. It is my understanding that pre-orders will ship immediately upon release, so now is a good time to pre-order.
Hi Jim, Will this book be available as a eBook or in PDF format so we can payonline and download it ?? or if Amazon ships it, will I have to pay only $45 or more than that as it is outside the US? I am eager to get my copy
@Kim, The publisher and reseller determine those sorts of things. The flyer says the book will be available in electronic format. I'm not sure what that means exactly. I've seen the publisher release other books in kindle format and I believe eBook as well. I honestly don't know what Amazon will make available, but experience shows they will make it available electronically.
Hi~ I have pre-ordered the book on amazon USA. They just updated the shipping dates. Book will be available with Amazon by July 02 2010 and with free shipping option will be shipped between July 08 2010 - July 12 2010. Hope this helps.
I pre-ordered the book and it came ahead of schedule. It is great!! There is a vacuum in relevant, current PeopleSoft Technical books and this help to fill that. I wonder why there is not a CD with the code samples included? Is there a website or link where we can get the code samples from?
@GretchN, I am pleased that you find the book useful. I apologize for the source code. It is still on my laptop. Yes, there is a download site. I'm in the process of exporting and uploading the code. I'm on chapter 9 right now. Once I'm done, I can send it to Oracle Press and they will post it. I expect to finish this week. I'm averaging about 2 chapters a night. I will post a link on my blog when the source code is available.

Thank you Graham. It would not be the same book without your contributions!
