Hi.. I am trying to insert a new product inside a catalog page if the product does not exists. I am doing this through CI. The product details are inside grid level2 in catalog page. While CI is reading its reading all the products inside that catalog. The page also has product descrption which is a related control field for product id fetched from a view. The issue is for each new product insertion the view sql runs 1000 times(if the catalog contains 1000 products) any way to avoid this while the adding new product through CI called from app engine process. At a time i am uploading more than 100- 500 products so the entire process consumes 3 hrs to 5 hrs.
Please tell any way to stop the view sql from executing only if product comes from CI .this is delievred Catalog page.
