A good way to get implementation skills is to join an implementation team (consulting firm). There are quite a few consulting firms offering PeopleSoft implementation services. Another good way to get implementation experience is to find a new PeopleSoft customer or a customer upgrading from 7.5 to an 8.x/9.0 version and try to get hired by that customer.
